Six years after our last successful attempt at using frozen semen, which produced a sable singleton we kept and called Kricket, we welcomed our second frozen semen litter. Again a singleton female, and our Kricket's granddaughter. Sundae did not have an easy start to life. Lainey did not have milk so Sundae had to be bottle fed, but Sundae fought the bottle and had to be weened at a very early age. She developed aspirate pneumonia from fighting the bottle and were it not for Bonnie, would never have made it.
Sundae entered the show ring at just under four months old at the UKC Midwest Classic, a larger than normal UKC show, and blew us all away by winning Best Novice Puppy In Show. She followed that up with an additional 3 Best Novice Puppy In Shows and a Reserve Best Novice Puppy In Show. She quickly finished her UKC title with multiple group wins and group placements.
Sundae is an old style malamute. She sports extremely thick ears, a correct tail set, a perfect bite, and movement so flawless you cannot take your eyes off of her.
